Meet Rachel and Hannah
The two tutors shaping Belgravia Ballet School.

Belgravia Ballet School is co-founded by Rachel Angus and Hannah Lancaster. Together they bring a blend of professional dance experience, premium presentation, and warm, attentive teaching that supports each student with clarity and care.

Rachel Angus

Rachel L Angus is a full-time dancer, choreographer and teacher who completed her training at Limerick School of Classical Ballet in 2011. After graduating she spent six months in Medellin, Colombia, teaching dance to children in the disadvantaged Alta Vista area of the city. Commercially she has tour Europe with Jackson Live (2018-2020), performed at the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony (2022), Queen’s Platinum Jubliee (2022), and Bollywood Queens at Proud (2023) and BOP Jazz, Daughters of Eve (2025).


Choreography credits include; The Snowball (2016), Welcome to Las Vegas (2017), Welcome to the 80s (2018), Boogie Wonderland (2019) and Strong Enough U.K. tour (2021) Peter Pan, Princess Theatre Essex (2025) and Cinderella, Telford International Centre (2025).


She frequently travels internationally to tutor ballet and is a regular at Step on Broadway in New York when she can get away to train. She is a fully qualified teacher with the R.A.D and I.S.T.D in Imperial Classical Ballet and Modern Theatre and is passionate about increasing the access of all school aged children to the physical and mental benefits of dance.

Hannah Lancaster

Hannah Lancaster is a professional dancer and musical theatre performer with over ten years of teaching experience. She trained at Bird College of Dance and Theatre Performance and graduated with a BA (Hons) in Theatre. Alongside her performing career, Hannah pursued further academic study and completed an MSc in Psychology (with Distinction) at the University of Surrey, deepening her interest in children’s psychology and the relationship between movement, expression, and wellbeing.


Hannah’s professional performing credits include Spanish Soloist in Swan Lake and Witch (cover Madge) in La Sylphide with Allegrodance Company. Her Musical Theatre credits include Kiki in Flashdance the Musical and Demeter in Cats the Musical. She has also worked internationally as a dancer and featured vocalist for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Additional theatre credits include Swing and Dance Captain in Where is Peter Rabbit, Aerialist in Come Fly with Me and Puppeteer and First Cover Fairy in Jack and the Beanstalk at Watford Palace Theatre.


Alongside performing, Hannah is a dedicated dance teacher. She holds ISTD qualifications in Cecchetti Ballet and Tap and has taught RAD ballet with several London ballet schools for over seven years, in addition to teaching across a variety of dance schools and training environments for more than a decade.


Hannah’s experience across both classical ballet and musical theatre informs her teaching approach. Combined with her kee interest in psychology, she is passionate about creating a supportive environment where children can develop confidence, creativity, and self-expression through movement. She believes dance should not only nurture strong technique, but also encourage young dancers to explore their individuality, enjoy physical activity, and experience the joy of artistic expression.
